About Me

I was born 3rd February 1996 in a small town in Limpopo called Hoedspruit. My childhood was spent barefoot climbing trees and running through the bush on a game reserve I was fortunate to live on.My humble upbringing in the bush has shaped my passion, love and care for the natural environment and all that lives within it. Hoedspruit, my hometown, has developed a reputation that flourishes in art and eco-tourism. Many well-known lodges are located around the area on game reserves. The famous Kruger National Park is even a mere 40 minutes away. I have combined my creativity with this ever-growing eco-tourism to develop a profession in wildlife art.The focus of my drawings has always related to wild animals in some way or another, birds, trees and anything in between. This is where my love lies. For many years I have experimented with different mediums such as acrylic and oil paint, pastel, charcoal, collage and pen to eventually circle back around to where we we all start, with pencil. My work is drawn on board with graphite pencil and just a touch of colour pencil. Since I can remember I have been playing sport and drawing, which I call my first two loves. I have played almost every sport under the sun which has kept me sane and mentally fresh. I love being outside, playing soccer and catching waves on the log (surfing). In my quest to see as much of the world as possible, I have ticked 15 countries off my my list so far. Cultures, architecture and wonderful people are what drives my travel desires.I am currently a qualified candidate architect and practicing wildlife artist currently based in Cape Town, South Africa. I am loving every minute of producing art to share with the world!
